While I like having the interior art be a bit of a surprise for the reader, the advent of audiobooks has changed how readers experience my novels. I’d love for listeners to get to experience the artwork, too, hence this site.
Brenda “Windfalcon” Lyons is the brilliant artist behind all of the graphite interior art pieces in the series except for one. Maria Puenchir, a blind indigenous artist who is a big part of what pushed me into getting the series into audiobooks, has always been fascinated by oilbirds (the only species of bird that echolocates) and gryphons. The interior art piece of Slate and Chert in book seven, Opinicus, was created by her.
