I’ve been honored to receive so much fan art over the years, but with social media being fractured, there hasn’t been a good place to put it all. With that in mind, I’m slowly expanding out the fan art page a little at a time. If you’re one of the wonderful artists who have sent me fan art over the years, and you’d like a short bio by your artwork or to give me an associated link, use the contact form or reach out on social media and I’ll happily include it.

Alesa Corrin

Alesa is also the author of the Jonathan: Prince of Dreams gryphon series and can be found on Twitter, Instagram, and ACorrinBooks.com.

Canonkiller

Canonkiller is on Tumblr and Twitter (but more active on Tumblr).

In the Author’s Note of The Ruins of Crestfall, one of the discarded ideas for birds that would make perfect gryphons with sand cats was the vampire finch. Canon could not get the idea out of their head and turned it into this fan art, suggesting it might work well on a tie-dye t-shirt for infusion day.

Cockatiel Forger (Maeve)

She deserves her own page after spending 2024 on a project where she wanted to give every named character in the series fan art. Coming soon!

Damien McAuley (SilenceArtwork)

Damien can be found on Twitter and Blue Sky.

Pine Grosbeak / Sphinx Cat original character. A padfoot who trades shinies for food and pelts so his sphinx cat half doesn’t freeze in the winter.

Darkling Dragon

Darkling Dragon can be found on Twitter and Blue Sky.

Flam Singer

https://linktr.ee/FlamSinger

FlamSinger's color artwork of Emin, the Seraph King from the novel Opinicus by K. Vale Nagle. Emin is mostly white on the underside and grey on the top side with black around the shoulders of the wings inspired by a white-tailed kite. His beak is black, as are his talons, and his digits/legs are yellow. He looks like a gryphon whose back legs are feathered like a microraptor, whose forelegs also work wyvern-like like hands, with another pair of wings on his back. His form is long and noodle-like, with a long tail ending with a feathered tuft. He has a long neck, and his facial expression is arrogant and derisive, the only seraph in a land of gryphons... at least for a few hours.

When Flam did a sketch of the Feathermane Pride with pony manes instead of lion manes, my husband fell in love with the design and couldn’t stop gushing over it. Flam and Glenn designed a pony feathermane together, Rathak, seen above. (Below is the original sketch.)
Ninox of the Strix Pride
Zeph vs. the Giant Kakapo. Many readers have picked up Eyrie for a series re-read and gone: “Wait, the kakapo is 4ft tall?! Zeph’s only 3ft at the shoulder!” and Flam’s no exception. In fact, while the weald of the Redwood Valley is full of kakapos, the gryphon term “ground parrot” refers to both the small kakapos that our world has and also the 4ft tall extinct kakapo ancestor Heracles inexpectatus.

Lycansprites / Rita

You can find Rita on Twitter and Blue Sky.

Zeph and Shard from Song of the Summer King. Rita’s book club went from Summer King’s middle grade gryphons to Eyrie’s, er, more murdery gryphons and immortalized the moment in crossover fan art.
